Jaynes artwork is influenced by the countryside in which she grew up and 20th century pop-culture, drawing inspiration from film, TV, literature and music.
After studying Graphic Design at Swindon College of Art Jayne moved to London in the early 1990's, where she worked in publishing for many years as a paper engineer, designing and making children's pop-up books.
Jayne now teaches art and works in oil, acrylic and watercolour from her studio in North London. A Friend of Hightgate Cemetery, she can often be found sketching among the gravestones.
